Patrick's Point State Park, California

For some weeks I've been trying to make reservations at Patrick's Point State park (29 miles north of Eureka, CA) through Reserve America without success. Today I called the park, talked to a ranger, and found out that they do not take reservations through next May. They are open on first-come basis and have plenty of room.  I will go soon, as this is one of my favorite spots.  No electric, no water hookup, but do have dump station.  I've only been there tent camping, but want to recommend sooner than my next trip. I'm sharing pictures even though not from T@B trip. These were all taken in July, but not all in the same year: At one time, I was going each week of January 10th.

Have you gone to Golden Bluffs in the same area.  It is beautiful as well.  No electric , or water hookups, but beautiful spots on ocean dunes with an outstanding fern canyon a short walk from the sites.
