Screening on A/C vent

I was walking around the outside of the Tab today and notice that there was a piece of screening material kind of wadded up inside the A/C vent. I am guessing it should have been attached on the backside of the vent but am not sure. I will take the vent cover off tomorrow and see if it is the same size as the vent and if so will try to attach it. But I wanted to see if others have screening and how that screening was attached. I guess it could just be a leftover piece from something else that found its way into that space. Just not sure.

The screen is attached to the inside of the white grill. Using a plastic putty knife, break the caulking on the two sides and bottom of the grill (leave the top caulk alone). Remove the four screws and gently tilt the grill up.2016 Outback 320
