LED Lights

LED lights seem to be of interest to a few folks here, I also caught the LED fever.  We have a 2006 DM CS with the traditional automotive type of light bulbs so I thought I'd try a LED bulb as a test.  Ordered one from Superbright LEDs on line that would fit our socket.  Received it, it fit, tested it, and we really like it - got the bright white version.  So, I then ordered more to replace all of Goli@th's interior lights with LEDs, including a yellow one for the outside door light - they all fit perfectly and functioned as expected.  And:  should be less current draw if we wish to boondock sometime on battery power only.  Note:  I did not replace the stop lights or turn lights with LEDs.

Superbright LEDs is the lowest cost source for the LED bulbs I have found and was pleased with their service and shipping speed and shipping prices.

Here's a link to them:  https://www.superbrightleds.com/

Hint:  Be sure to match the type of base on your current bulbs to those available on the superbright website - there are several different type of bulb base's.

PS:  I have no affiliation with Superbight LEDs at all - only a customer.

Good stuff, thanks for sharing!  I agree, converting over to the LED lights is a good thing and furthers the cause of saving energy when boondocking in remote areas.   Verna set me up with a dimmable flat mount LED strip light for over the counter-top in my T@B Maxx S and it eliminated the energy hungry light that had previously been installed.  I'm also outfitting a 28' travel trailer down in Arizona with LED lights and have found some good prices on EBay, so search it out as they have many LED fixtures and replacement bulbs too.

Agreed, they also produce less heat, always a good thing for summer dry camping.

States the T@Bpole has camped, so far ;)

Agreed!  I was pleasantly surprised about how much cooler the LED lights were as compared to the original filament bulbs.  The light diffusers (covers) hardly get warm when before, they got HOT.
