I'm soon to buy a T@b Max S Outback (2017) but cannot find information on the TV. I don't see any antenna on the exterior so I'm wondering if the TV only works if plugged into cable? Also does the TV run off 12 volts (the battery)? I saw something in the online manual about it requiring shore power or an attached generator.

Runs on 12v only. How you get it is up to you. Cable jack also is for antenna.

So no antenna comes with the T@b, sounds like? Is one available from the company as an option or if not, what do people use (and interior or exterior)?

Buy any antennae with a coaxial male connector. I bought a $14 one from Walmart and it works fine for local channels. Some RV parks offer free cable - just connect their coaxial to the side of the Tab and you're good to go. Some have the Tailgator dish with 110v cable box (you'll need shore power or an inverter to run that box).

How do I get the DVD player to work?  Read the manual, simple enough but I can only get audio.......no picture.  TIA

You have to change the input on the TV remote.

There is a button labeled as "Input" - press that to change the input. You might need to press it a couple of times. Give it a second before you press it more than once as it might take a second for the video signal to show up.
