Map Posting Instructions:  

1. Click on the link above and place your cursor in the "search box" area at the top of the page and "click" on it.  

a.  Type in a location - select a location from the drop-down suggestions that come up.

b.  The map will take you into closer proximity to the location and a green marker will appear.  

Note:  You can accomplish this task by selecting the same "add a marker" icon (menu options above) shown above on the screen too. 

c. "Click" on the marker and a details box now appears.  You can add a photo to the marker and any details desired (e.g., screen name, personal info, trailer info, etc.)

d. To finalize marker and add it to the member map select "add to map."

NOTE:  This map is solely intended to show recommended/safe camping & RV locations, is intended more for entertainment/fun and to help others out in their travels and trips and planning for future fun places to visit.  

            Also, sometimes the map software does not like MAC computers or locations applied from smart phones, so keep this in mind if you are unable to add locations to the map.

Well hey, as large as Google is I guess we're all in trouble....  It works for me and if you have a PC, etc., should work for you too.

I've changed some permission settings on the map that I missed earlier and it should be fine to use now.   So feel free to post up your fav and recommended camping locations if you like.

There must be something else with the permissions as it is not doing anything but allowing me to browse the map.  I can find locations but cannot open the pop-up on the locations nor add markers of my own.

Try the map now as I made a tweak to the permissions therein.....  Let me know if it works.

I believe I was able to add a location (Rock Creek State Park, where Midwest T@Bs have an annual rally the seccond weekend in June) and save it using my iPad.

I LOVE this - I'm a "map person" anyway and to be able to visually see where the various campgrounds are located is great. Can't wait to go explore next summer. Kirk Creek in CA will definitely be on my list as I make my way up the coast. Thanks for putting this together and for folks who have contributed. I hope to do the same when I'm on the road!

You can add photos to the locations too.   This is going to be popular!

Very cool thing.  It'll be neat to have photos of folk's T@B's at the various campgrounds.

Mike, great idea! I added a few and linked to my reviews here, onto he T@b forums. I am also a map person. I wonder if we could get Travels with Yolly to participate. Neil had some great campground reviews and photos.

Neil resigned from the forum Jenn and bought a larger trailer.   I think you can still follow his travels via his Youtube stuff that is posted.
