It's Fire Season in the West Again!

Unfortunately summer also comes with dry and windy conditions, lightning strikes, careless people, other causes for combustion perfect for starting wild fires. Don't forgot to check the location you're headed to for any burn bans. We just had one imposed last night till further notice in the county. https://www.spokanecleanair.org/current-burning-conditions I'm camping with friends in this area, but do have the Little Red Campfire/propane, so I think we can use it unless the range says no. There's also uncontrolled fires up in BC right now, and other areas along the West. Stay safe everyone!

At least 6 fires in CO now (and one, now out, way to close to home).  Check inciweb and other resources before travel...

@Homebodyatheart, 'Ya gotta be careful because when they impose burn bans in our area, it pertains to ANY OPEN FLAME. Last year, watched as a Park Ranger made folks put out their propane tabletop BBQ at Porcupine Bay. They had JUST put the burgers on too!
