I like to open the door and use the screen door on my 2017 tab.

When we use our Tab tent, we are able to open our door about 130 degrees.  It will rub on the ceiling of the tent, so don't over do it.

Not fully. I use a short bungee cord, hook it to the door latch & one of the loops on my awning. Holds the door open perfectly without scraping the ceiling.

We bungee cord the door to the handle on the front of the Tab through a small gap in the tent.
