Electric brake inspection and maintenance

Realizing how important the braking system is on the t@b , I was interested to know if anyone has experience inspecting magnets wear etc... Maint of break away lanyard...backup battery etc... I am using a ten kasha controller at present...lots 2 learn. I have read brochures but hands on knowledge is priceless...thanks

The videos I find searching "RV electric brake adjustment" only give instructions similar to the Owners Manual, i.e. adjusting the star wheel but nothing about the electric part...I assume that (I have a Tekonsha also) either works or it doesn't (but you know what they say about "assume"!).
