Rear Cabinet Removal?

Having just returned from 6 weeks in my T@B, I am making a few modifications to improve my next long journey. I have noticed that the rear cabinets are more of a nuisance to me than the minimal storage they provide. This photo shows a T@B model like mine - absolutely no wiring associated with the cabinet. I ran several searches on removing them but could find nothing. Has anyone removed that rear cabinets to allow more head room for sleeping? If so, I'd love to see photos and hear feedback on the change. Thanks!
