Getting new T@B 400. Do I need an Extended Warranty, paint protection, interior protection, etc?

I am picking up a new T@B 400 in July and am stumped regarding add ons the dealer is trying to sell me.
From what I gather, the consensus seem to be that it is not worth getting an extended warranty. The dealer is trying to sell me:
Vehicle Service Contract paid to Cornerstone
Tire and Wheel protection paid to Tire Shield
Paint Protection paid to Platinum Ultimate Plus
Roadside assistance paid to CoachNet.
I do not want to get anything I do not need, I am currently purchasing must haves for the trailer, and would love to know everyone's opinion and experience with these. I am completely new to travel trailers and would appreciate the wisdom of experienced people. Thanks!

    My goodness.

My opinion is no you do not need this stuff, and the dealer is trying to take advantage of you.

@Photomom I suspected as much. I already have AAA and I am considering upgrading to membership that covers RV towing etc. I am wondering if an extended warranty through Good Sam is worth it, and as for the "you don't have to wax for 5 years" protection package, it seems sketchy to me

We NEVER buy extended warranties of any kind. In my view it’s better to bank the money you would spend on the warranty against the day you need to get something fixed.

We've washed our Tab, never waxed it. Still looks good after lots of trips, 5 years now.

Look into Progressive trailer & RV policy. (Covers pets!)

@NCNative, I agree completely with @Photomom. You have already picked a trailer manufactured by one of the best rv manufacturers out there. I don't know how closely you follow all areas of the forum, but NuCamp always seems to go the extra mile or many miles when there are problems with any trailer. When at uCamp 17, they came to us to fix our reported warranty issues (4 minor items that I could have lived with and never had repaired), and while there, found another issue we hadn't noticed. After asking our permission to check it out, they located a problem we didn't know we had and repaired it on the spot. That's Service with a capital S! That's great customer satisfaction and an attitue of caring. They have made us a part of their family, and care about us. Now, your dealer does sound like they're trying to take advantage, and boost the profit margine. I wash the t@b when it needs washing and waxed it once last year. I'll wax it again this year and wash when needed. That's it for exterior care, although I know t@bbers in the south may wax it a couple times each year to protect from the severe sun. We do a yearly check and tighten all the screws we can find. We'll do the requested caulking check and re-application. Our trailer will be 2 yrs old in mid May and we'll get the alde fluid (glycol) changed in the fall to be prudent. We'll get the tires replaced before camping this spring as we already have 18,000 miles on them from sea level (actually in the ocean at the water line) to over 11,000 feet in altitude and from snowy roads to the desert sothwest in July and August. We do just normal maintenance that having had an rv or not, make sense. You can do this too and save money. As far as traveling insurance, we have AAA with the trailer towing package and Good Sam because we travel over the 48 contiguous states and a little overlap isn't bad. Sorry about the novel. Save some bucks and use it to travel more. You got this!

Thanks everyone for this great information. I have decided to go with progressive for insurance, AAA for towing and travel as I already have it, and I will look into Good Sam.This has been extremely helpful!
