Buying in Canada for US registration?

Anyone have any experience with buying a trailer in Canada and then returning with it for registration in the US? I'm considering buying a used 2007 but I'm wondering whether US Customs makes this an easy or challenging process.

I bought mine in US and brought into Canada  - for what its worth I googled the requirements, made sure I followed and was through in 20 minutes - good lucK!
