Chirping; not Atwood related

There has been a lot of discussion about Atwood detectors chirping, signifying low voltage. My issue is different. I have a persistent chirping. So I cut the Atwood free and removed it completely. I still have a chirp about every 40 seconds when on battery power, no chirping on shore power. I have a Barracuda marine deep cycle battery. My plug in meter is showing 12.9 volts. I have a 2 year old Progressive power manager hard wired. I can't locate the source of the chirp. Has anyone encountered this? It really makes my T@B uninhabitable.

@leenscottfl, can you pull one fuse at a time to see if the chirping will stop so as to isolate what circuit?

Egg on my face big time. My chirping seems to have been my out of sight of mind smoke detector. it was trying to tell me to replace the spent battery. Lesson learned. I just wonder how many others who thought the LP/CO detector that was the culprit had the same problem.Scott, Orange Park, Florida...2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara... 2015 T@B S Maxx "Buttercup".

I had the same issue and was very pleased to find this post. I figure there may be others getting their campers out of storage that might have the same experience. Thanks for posting this.Mike and Lisa Campbell

I had the same problem with my tab 400. However when I checked the co monitor it was faulty but not showing so also. The test button didn't work. So I ended up swapping both the co detector and the smoke detector battery. Now I will test the co monitor more often. :-)

Yup, just replaced smoke detector battery too. When reporting to my wife that I had discovered a 'new' smoke detector she kindly said she knew it was there....New battery works great.
