Welcome To@d. It's fun to name our T@bs with T@b in the name. When I was trying to decide on a name, I went to this website. http://www.scrabblefinder.com/contains/tab/ Tons of potential names with TAB in them. I narrowed them down to two: T@basco (which would have been perfect with the red) and Fant@bulous which got the most votes from friends and family.
June; 2013 T@b "Fant@bulous"; 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee; one kayak and one bike
Hey Scuba, when you're coming back on I-70, at the Ohio/Indiana state line, get in the inside lane. Unless they've repaired it, there is one heck of a chuckhole in the right-hand lane westbound.
Safe travels!

You're welcome. Glad you missed it. Yes, the concrete interstates are bad with the chuckholes. When it hit that chuckhole, it was the only time that anything moved in the galley out of 7,600 miles on the SS last year.
Glad it was a safe trip. Two weeks to the Hoosier Shiveree at Anderson Mounds SP.

There is no inverter in your T@B from the factory, unless you order it. A converter converts 110V to 12V while you are plugged into shore power. An inverter would convert 12V to 110V to power 110V items while you are running on 12V battery.

I guess I'm going to need to find a fellow T@B owner to learn me all these gadgets! Don't believe there is an owners manual for the T@B. One for everything on it....
Scuba, the "fan at breaker/fuse box" is the fan in your converter. Look at my post referring to Michigan Mike's post on the LG forum. Click on the blue "here", and it will give you some information about the converter.

Well, I can't find a T@B owner's manual here. The only reference is Michigan Mike saying it is being redone. Being an Administrator for the Little Guy Forum, I don't keep up with everything here on the T@B forum, even though I'm an Admin here, too.
So, Scuba, I can't refer you to any owner's manual over here that I can find. I did send you a private message that may help.

Hey, Scuba, welcome to the Clamshell T@Bs Get ready for lots of attention at camp sites. Folks start walking toward you and talking to you before you can get clamshell up and the coffee started. They have all kind of questions. Lots if rpods out there. Had a wonderful vintage Shasta next door to us. Everyone admires the birch cabinetry. Have fun and check the nuts and bolts on the license plate.
No. It stopped once plugged into 110 outlet. I'm hoping that the reason for the chirp was to let me know that I had not yet plugged into power outlet while still plugged into RV.

Thanks Verna,
Not repaired! Pretty bad in IN in spots also.
Got him home safe and sound. Looking forward to the first outing.

He apparently lost his nuts on the "double nickle", I 55.
Is the converter still chirping, Steve?
