Grand Teton to Glacier

ok all you worldly travellers. Last year, we travelled to Grand Teton and Yellowstone and several suggested we try Glacier as well. We couldn’t last year but are doing Glacier this year. We found Teton very appealling but didn’t see everything we wanted so we’re staying at Colter Bay a couple days before heading to Glacier. Problem is we prefer not to drive through Yellowstone to get to Glacier even though it seems the most direct. That traffic reminds me of an LA freeway.

Anyone have good suggestions about getting there by going around YNP?

I think the best route will be west to Driggs, ID and then north to Bozeman. I have heard it is a lovely drive. You could also take a slower but perhaps more scenic route  via Grassy Lake/Ashton Flagg Ranch Rd, just north of Jackson Lake, and pass the SW entrance to Yellowstone over to ID and pick up 20 North to Bozeman.
