This is one of my favorite campgrounds. I've reserved 2 nights in September, the soonest I could find a booking. 

I know about the mosquitoes, I just came back from Stephen C. Foster State Park in GA, right in the Okefenokee Swamp. I had been dealing with yellow flies and mosquitoes for the last two days on top of hot, steamy weather.

Oh dear @robpt!! I've been there and donated at least a pint of blood because of the 'squeedos' and don't forget about the noseeums!

We were there the same weekend as CCGA - We talked briefly as we left; It was our second trip in our 2018 Boondock edition.

THe beach and park were beautiful, but the mosquitos were awful!

Thanks for all the great comments!  To George101 - we remember talking with ya'll, we were heading out at the same time.  We are going out again in Sept - hopefully the mosquitos will be gone!

@CCGA, I will be there September 15th through 16th, in the front  loop, at a site facing out to the gulf. ! will be bringing my Clam Pavilion in case...
