CS dometic stove grate grommet source

Does anyone have a cheap source for the 2 black grommets that hold the CS stove grate?  Any creative substitutes?

    Ha. No idea. Tried and gave up!

    Ours are white, and we have 4 for each grate.

    I have found a few things that look like they will work, but maybe too small.  A tatoo machine grommet - who knew!

    I ordered these grommets from Vistaview for a much cheaper price and free shipping.  I will let you know if they fit.  They are rubber - not silicone, so we will see how they hold up.  

    Anyone else have problems with their stove grate grommets?

    Yes and with pulling the grate off to clean the stove top they did not hold up over time.

    One seems to be sufficient, and might even make the grate easier to remove.

    I purchased them cheap at Lowes.  Grommets for sheet metal to string wire through.

    I think they are rubber.  They have lasted for months...no fires!!

    We still have our, but went thru some bumpy roads this last trip and ended up with the stove grate on top of the faucet when we got to our site!  (And we were not off roading!) :o

    Thanks Sharon and others for your info on the petty little item. I spent a half hour waiting and on the phone w Dometic, only to find that they wanted 70$ for 8 of these stupid little pieces of rubber. How obnoxious! 
    I’ll try your vista-view cable Rex rubber grommets. Nothing to lose !

    @SolidCamper - ours are still working.  I think I may have shaped one side flat for a better fit.  Good luck!
