Any particular recommendation for replacement of the glycol in the Alde heater? New to me 320S was winterized at a dealer and they emptied the glycol as part of the process. It was bought new last year, so very strange they would do that, no?
Search Century glycol for a ton of info on this topic.
The glycol should have remained, as it is an antifreeze in itself.

It’s the water contained in the sleeve surrounding the Alde glycol that gets drained with winterization. Some folks drain the Alde water and replace it with antifreeze, but according to Alde, this is not required. Ask the dealer if their winterization included adding antifreeze to the Alde, so you know to thoroughly rinse it in the spring.
Thanks Sharon. But no! The dealer emptied the glycol. Previous owner told me this. And I checked the expansion reservoir. It's empty! So any advice for which brand of type of glycol i should use .I've read i need about 2 gallons.
