Passport America--half price Monday through Thursday. It works, but I didn't use it this winter during my trip to Arizona. There is a yearly membership fee (I forget what it was).
KOA--this is a "safe" place to stay on the road for me. I know what to expect at their campgrounds. I spent around the same as I did at state parks, but I was just getting electric/water sites. You buy a membership for around $25/year and you get 10% off when you stay there. I have stayed enough at KOA's since November that the membership paid for itself.
Good Sam membership. Save on store and online purchases and save 3 cents per gallon on gas at Pilot Truck Stops. It costs around $25/year. This is not to be confused with the Good Sam Roadside Assistance which costs more than $25/year.
AAA with RV - if you break down, they will dispatch two tow trucks if needed; one for your tow vehicle and one for your T@B. Or they will put the "broken down" vehicle/camper on the tow truck and tow your other one with one tow truck.
Those are are the ones I know about.

I agree about Passport America, Jenn. The campgrounds that subscribe seem to need business. My first year paid for itself with just two overnight stays, but this year might not pay for itself. Since I found out that the KOA winter season rates are low, I chose them over looking got PA campgrounds. I always ask independents if they accept any of the discount cards.
Also AAA is accepted at some campgrounds as a discount.

I found a wealth of information this past winter when I cam across a book called "Don Wright's Guide to Free Campgrounds" 14th Edition...... Includes campgrounds for $12 and under in the US. I paid $4.00 for a used book and if you look around you should be able to find it. It is a valuable resource and lists camping by state and I highly recommend it as it contains detailed information on rates, camping, facilities/amenities, etc.

Nice overview, Verna.
I bought but did not use Passport America. I think it works for the right person. I am not that person at this time.
I bought and used and renewed both the Good Sam and KOA cards. Sometimes you can't risk the time it would take to find a first come type of site.
