Remember the Oklahoma couple that were in a travel trailer and a couple of escaped convicts from Arizona murdered them and burned them in their trailer?  They had concealed carry permits and their weapons were in the trailer, I figure they answered a knock on their door opened it and stepped outside and were overpowered...   When the wife and I read that and watched the news, we decided to get a concealed carry license.  We did. And although we can legally carry openly, it it concealed.  One cannot overestimate the element of surprise, we keep it hidden and don't advertise.  We pray it will never be used.
