New TAB 400 exterior trim issues

I picked up my new Tab 400 about a month ago but due to a variety of reasons was unable to take it out until last weekend. Was in storage (outdoors) between then and now. I have visited it often to get ready to camp.  Saturday I was enjoying camping on the first sunny day above freezing in Wisconsin since last October, enjoying a fine Miller Brewing product and thinking I was on top of the world with my brand new RV (which everyone walking by either stared at or asked about) when I noticed the rubber molding lining the harder plastic trim was buckled on both sides, where the trim joints are.  (See picture just to the left and below the bathrooom vent stack - a bit hard to see here.)

I've emailed customer service but have yet to hear back.   I'm assuming this is a warranty claim, but curious if anyone else has experienced this issue.  I had to return the unit to storage right after I was done camping and have not had the time to actually get up there and look at this.  I expect to have to deal with things, but not on the first day out with a new RV.

I had a little buckling as well, but further down, near the end cap.  I was able to muscle the rubber back into place.  It wasn't glued--it behaved like a gasket.

I have this same problem on a new 2021 400 Boondock. I guess I'll get up there and try to squeeze the molding in, I'd hate to go back to the dealer right away.

Same issue on my new 400.  One strip came out of place on my way home from the dealer  I got the ladder out and pushed the rubber back in place.  I have driven it about 2000 miles and it has stayed in place.

I had the same issue except my rubber gasket came loose and was flapping all over the place.  Nucamp suggested inserting it back using the following product to keep it in place.

@Oldcootcamper we had the exact same issue in the exact same place when we went to pick ours up a couple weeks ago. Left it at the dealership for them to fix (along with a couple other items they missed during their “inspection”)

I had a piece of the hard trim fly off during the trip from dealer back home (2,200miles)... called the dealer and was told it's not covered under warranty!

@blackc2004 just FYI that’s patently false. We had the same thing happen last summer w our 320 and nucamp mailed us an entire new trim kit for free: warranty@nucamprv.com

Fairly common issue. In most cases it is not necessary to glue it down and it is not a weather seal. In some cases it may need to be glued if it continues to work loose. I would not glue the entire piece, just where needed. In case it needs replaced in the future. Then removal could be very difficult and time consuming.

I was able to get up high enough with a step stool and just squeeze it back into place. I think it will stay. Don't really understand how that got missed in manufacture but if that's all that goes wrong I'll be grateful. Thanks everybody for the thoughts.
