I had to remove some material from the rear of the Jack-E-Up and remove some more from the Jack-E-Up so the trailer bolts would clear. (Had it done at my local welding shop) 20 dollars.) I also had them


removed the front aluminum rail. I now can open my Wrangler tailgate all the way. I removed spare tire & carry it in the back of the Wrangler. Art

I have too much stuff mounted on my a-frame to even consider that solution (see the link in my sig for more info). Also, I swapped out the jack for a power jack and really don't want to give that up. I just deal with the lack of access and try to plan accordingly. FWIW, mine is a 2019 JL.
