For what it’s worth, the labor charge to have the factory install the Victron battery monitor in our 400 being built is $476.

    My dealer's charging $375 for the BMV-712 unit and installation labor included (that's about $175 for the labor).

    @Rollingztone, after crawling around under the T@B and running wires for hours, $175 for labor seems like a steal!

    I installed a BMV-700 and its bluetooth dongle myself on our 2012 T@B. It wasn't difficult, but it took a couple of hours. It was worth it. That is the first thing I asked the dealer to install on our new T@B Boondock.

    I also I stalled my first one. When I replaced mine, I let the factory do it.
