3-way fridge in clamshell

I see that a 3-way fridge is not available in the clamshell model due to venting issues.  I'm wondering why it cannot be vented to the side?  I'm thinking it's probably because it would be too close to the sleeping area?  We'll soon be purchasing a CS-S model and it would be nice to have the 3-way.

First post on the forum and really looking forward to picking up our T@B and joining the family!!

    Yes, you are right about the venting of the 3-way fridge. You wouldn't want any exhaust fumes leaking inside, plus the exhaust gasses are HOT.  The better that the fridge is vented the better it cools. Welcome to the family, you ARE going to love it.
