Inline Battery Fuse

Could something like this, with at 30 amp fuse, be used instead of the factory inline battery fuse?

I have to rewire my electrical connections as I replaced my propane/battery box, and this seems like a better solution than the hard wired inline fuse that came with the trailer.

I replaced mine with a 30 amp circuit breaker link.....spendy but not getting stuck with a blown fuse in the middle of nowhere is priceless

^^ I've used a bunch of those in previous RVs.  Yes, they are spendy but lots better than the $8 auto-reset style.

For my T@B, I installed two of these Blue Sea fuse panels in my front storage box.  One is for the direct battery power and the other is for switched battery power.  These allow me to easily add additional loads in the storage box.  Wiring diagram at the link in my signature.  Select the Modifications tab and then Wiring Diagrams.

This has worked for over 4 years. 30 amp auto reset breaker replaces factory fuse. Cost less then $5 just plug it in. Here is another inexpensive option.
