New Lagun table top

I am about to take the plunge and install a Lugan pedestal in my 2007 T@B T16 queen.  I would like to get the forum members opinion on the best location, material, size and thickness to use in this camper for two people.  Thanks for your insights and advice.

I like mine on the driver side bench. I have a $20 Husky workbench top from Home Depot. The second is the location, but not the tabletop. That is a nice one my mom's husband made and sold, but it shows the location better.

Mine is a 24" diameter round wooden top from Lowe's.
Works great for me and is a perfect size.
Not too big, and not too small.
(I'm using it right now for dinner and computer work together!)

That does look great but might not accommodate my wife and me for dinner or cards.  How about a melamine top about 3/4 thick?  Anyone use that material?

I finally found a table top for my Lagun arm that works great for me.  It's a good size for a couple and can be used as the bed support.  It fits perfectly on our 2007 queen model.  It's on ebay for $69.00  including shipping and is 24 3/4 x 29 1/4x 3/4 inches.  Weighs about 12 pounds.  Here is a link in case anyone is interested.
