In preparation for a Fall Trip to the Grand canyon I rigged up a trailer hitch mounted bicycle rack. Everything went well until I realized that when I went to lower the rack (swing backward) to open the SUV's tailgate, the bike rack hit the trailer jack. After some research I found the "Ultimate Trailer Jack" The wonderful part about this jack is that it is removable. In keeping with the T@B owners mandatory modification requirements I removed the jack handle and adapted a half inch socket for raising and lowering.
I picked up the jack up at Tractor Supply, but they are also sold on-line. The Jack is pricey but well worth it to me.

Oops. When I modified my original jack in order to use a drill to adjust height, I threw away the original crank handle. Now I want to use the old jack on a different trailer. Since different family members borrow my utility trailer, I don’t necessarily want to loan out my drill as well. So, with all that said, if anyone has a post mod crank handle they don’t need, I would like to purchase it.
