Door Handle Mod

Here's my new modification to the inside door handle for added functionality..  ;)

About $3 from Organized Obie.  Or they have an opener with a magnet below it to catch the bottle cap (about $10), but we already had a trashcan mounted on the door below it.  I only had to drill one hole - there are already two holes available, but not the right spacing, so take your pick & just drill one more hole.  You'll need to get some very short bolts.  I like that both opener & trash can can be either inside or outside when we are.
Not sure if this idea would be compatible with those keyless locks, but the stock handle provides a sturdy base for mounting.  And yes, I've tested it, and it works great!

Smart @BrianZ.  The TaB inside door handle projection is shallow and awkward to pull the door closed.  This would help.  Thanks!

Ok, sure, @Sharon_is_SAM, that's why I did it!  It wasn't just that I wanted to easily open my hoppy beverages.  ;)  You're right though, it's a clumsy handle to try to grasp, and this addition actually does help to "get a grip".
