Alde Noise

Just taking a poll here to see how many of you have Alde units that make a ticking/clicking noise when using heat on electric only with propane off.

    Just spent six nights with temps in the low 30s, Alde used with propane only and electric only. Yes it clicks and ticks. The unit has valves and selenoids, which click and when the heating coils expand after the alde kicks in they tick, no different than the baseboard heating behavior. I see it as normal operation. Actually the ticking and clicking is re-assuring that the heating is working....
