Is there a T@B club in Texas specifically in or around Dallas Texas?

We just bought a new T@B and would enjoy camping with others that have a T@B.  I have looked online but have not found a group so was wondering if anyone knew of a T@B club around Dallas. Thanks.

    We're from that area and haven't heard of a local convoy / meetup group either, but have seen lots of T@Bs around.  Check with Princess Craft or wherever you bought it?

    @tedderbruce welcome to the Tab family! It's easy to start a local group. Pick a day, time, and place to meet up, post it and see who shows up. If you're on Facebook there might be local groups there, too, that you could reach out to. We've found a restaurant with a side room to be perfect for the SpoTab group. We have anywhere from eight or nine to sixteen show for breakfast monthly. Tab, Tag, Tada, 400 owners, and those who want information before buying one are all welcome! It's a fun group, and many of us have formed close friendships because of it. My vote...go for it!

    Oh no!  Now we have to be computer programmers to enjoy our campers?  Not fair!   =)

    My wife (Sandy) an I live in Dallas up near Richardson.  I can see something like this happening a few times a year but monthly would be difficult to sustain.

    Just a thought from a future owner:

    The north Texas unit of the Airstream Club used to meet for lunch at a cafeteria in Arlington once a month. While I was still looking before I bought my Airstream, I went over there to find information and made several good friends. It was just over 20 years ago oh, I was the youngest person and had long hair and an ear ring. I'm sure they thought I was a drug dealer. I was working on an Airstream history. The second month I brought several copies of what I had so far bound and gave them away. The third month they thought I was so smart when I was just a newbie. So it wouldn't hurt to start a group, quarterly just to check out the interest. Tab ownership is a lot younger than the Airstream group who were mostly retirees then.

    The meet-up app is great to use on a phone. You might as well try. I think it would be a good idea.

    @tedderbruce I’m in a women’s camping group that started on meetup. We just canceled out of meetup in December and have a Facebook closed group because of a number of administrative problems with meetup, and Facebook is free. Just my .02, but our head organizer paid a lot out of her own pocket to them that she never recouped.  Good luck!

    I don't know why you'd have to pay Meetup anyting. It's free.
