320 and a microwave

Still in the decision phase of the camper purchase. Initially pretty set on a tag, then a rainy camping trip and some less than courteous fellow bathroom users has made my wife decide on a bathroom. So the tag is out and now we are looking for something slightly larger. So we are deciding between a little guy mini max and a 320css. The biggy for me is the microwave.

while the mini max has a microwave it is in a location that is absurd. So my thought was to replace the TV on a 320css in the galley area with a .7 cuft microwave. ya its small but I just need enough room for a single plate of left overs or a coffee reheat.

Has anyone else attempted this? If so pictures and feedback would be much appreciated.

Yes...someone has...she posted on FB group...turned out great.. don't believe it was ever posted here...she found a microwave to fit perfectly without altering the cabinet..if you're on FB tag Crystal Garmen Baker...she'll remember!

okay...someone... Mouseketab helped me...thanks Carole..it's on the FB T@B Camping Trailers site...March 8th posting by Marsha Wahl...it was a Black and Decker microwave that she purchased from Target...looks slick

We have carried a small to medium sized microwave in a 320 and liked it. We now use it in our 400. Probably will never use the propane stove but would not delete it for resale value. When we need the microwave it is on the counter. when traveling, we set it in the floor. Has worked well for us for several years. Was thinking about building it in , in the top of the closet in the 400. I found out to build it in, it needs to be a unit for built in application so that it can vent. Ours is not a built in unit. I made a portable stand that sets on the bed for the 400 so that allows us to keep all the counter space. This is the earlier version that slips over the edge of the mattress. the last is what we made so that we can use the dinette in the sofa position and have small table for our plates and cups when eating.

I’d really like to try and put a microwave where the air conditioner is in the 320S. Has anyone done that?

Thx for the replys, I joined the facebook group. It is good to hear it will fit. I might find one that will fit and then make an appointment at the factory for the mod, I can manage most engineering tasks, I am not a cabinet guy and dont want to bugger up the cabinetry. I only live an hour or so drive from the factory so it would be no big deal to drop it off for a couple of weeks.

found marshas post in the facebook group and that is exactly what i was thinking of, wonder why the factory offers a tv in the kitchen and not a microwave? I got to eat, dont need a tv

@Cbusguy...the first nuCamp trailer to have a microwave was the T@G Max xl...still waiting to see them put it in the T@B...a permanent install would be sweet!
