Dyeing 400 Dinette Cushions

I'm looking to dye the seating cushions not the backrest ones. I chose the green fabric and would now like to dye the lower ones a darker, complimentary color. Any of you attempt this and if so do you have any brand recommendations? Tips? Thanks

Most fabrics used commercially are treated in a variety of methods to repel fluids, remain colorfast, be stain resistant etc.  This makes dyeing difficult. Even bleaching failed in some of my efforts to change drapery color. Perhaps if Nücamp can provide the composition of the material, you can experiment with some exact or similar remnants.

Or maybe look into slipcovers? That way you can always revert to the original setup, if necessary.

All I can think of is a warm humid night and the unlucky person sleeping on it wakes up with half a blue face from the dye on the cushion.   Or your wife's new white shorts have a nice gray seat. =)
