Yup, I posted my experience, only one of 4 still tight, two missing and the other the nut was 3/4 of the way down the shaft. It was good to know it was not the factory, the dealer installs the cover. Makes me feel good about the rest of the tab.

Remember your post - was going to check then and got distracted. Would check now but it's been racing cat & dogs for five hours now. Hopefully I'll remember tomorrow, don't want that thing coming off.

Mine held tight for my first year -- checked it last fall before putting her in storage for the winter. The left side of the accessory cover was loose and coming undone. I drilled new holes in the frame on both sides and installed large washers and nuts and bolts, NOT self-tapping screws. All is well now and she survived a 2,439 mile trip without incident.
