axle weight rating

in Factory Comments
Rating on VIN plate says 3500# each axle but trailer does not have a single axle. Does this mean 3500# each wheel?

    No.
    DOT VIN Plate is a standard format.  "Each Axle" means just that weight rating of each axle.  Your T@B 400 has one axle with a GAWR of 3,500 Lbs.
