Hello to the forum!
We are Bill and Barb, living the retirement life in Kansas City, MO.
Our new 2018 T@B 320-s was picked up from Dane and staff at Missouri Teardrops, near Warrensburg, MO on April 4th. We drive a 2013 2.4L Subaru Outback and had it modified with the electric brake system prior to picking up our T@B. We already had a 2" receiver for a small canoe trailer, but no brake system.
Thanks to everyone on the forum for your ideas and various modification adventures. We have looked at many and thought through some for our own new T@B. So... here is what has happened since getting our T@B:
Modifications so far:
1. Moved the spare to the front hitch. (Home Depot)
2. Added three metal hinges to the horizontal lift-shelf behind rear seatback. (Lowes)
3. Added the soft-close to the horizontal shelf behind the rear seatback. (Amazon)
4. Added two knobs to help lift the horizontal shelf. (came with the hinges)
5. Added mirror to the area to the left of the shower door (Command Strips) (AutoZone)
6. Added aluminum screen wire to both vents of the refrigerator. (Lowes)
7. Added four key hooks to the right of the door (just between door and window)
(Command Strips) (Bed Bath and Beyond)
8. Built two wooden ramps to help overcome a 1.75 inch lip on garage floor entrance. (Homemade)
9. Added a "D Ring" to the garage wall to allow a ratchet strap attachment to aid in moving T@B into garage. (The
driveway is sloped just enough to not be easy to push the T@B into the garage over the lip) (Home Depot)
10. Cut some plywood into small squares for leveling and support under the tongue wheel (Homemade)
Purchases so far:
1. Towel bars hook over the shower door (Amazon)
2. Towel bars hook over the under sink cabinets (Amazon)
3. Two curtain rods inside the shower (towels and toiletries) (Target)
4. Two metal shelves inside the under sink cabinets (more dishes and cooking equipment storage) (Lowes)
5. Over cabinet hook basket inside the door under sink. (Walmart)
6. Over the door hanging basket for shoes next to the fire extinguisher. (Lowes)
7. Three stacking bins on the counter to the right of the stove glass. (Walmart)
8. Soft storage bags for clothes (will go under the first seat next to the door) (Amazon)
9. Three baskets to go into above cabinets at rear. (Target)
10. Four plastic boxes with lids to go on rear lift-shelf behind the rear seat. (Walmart)
11. Outdoor mat (Amazon)
12. Camping microfiber towels (Amazon)
13. Narrow trash can (next to toilet) (Walmart)
14. Tiny toilet brush and holder (Walmart)
15. 30 amp / 15 amp adapter hockey puck (Menards)
16. Drinking water hose (Menards)
17. Water pressure adapter for the hose (Home Depot)
18. Water 90 degree angle adapter for the hose (Home Depot)
19. Rubber chocks and rope (Northern Tool)
20. Masterlock hitch lock (Amazon)
21. A few spare fuses (AutoZone)
22. Queen size memory foam bed topper (It rolls up with our queen sleeping bag
and stores behind the rear seat) (Kohls)
23. Solar charging panel on a whim to just see if it would work (Harbor Freight)
24. TV Antenna (we had a spare "Leaf", and found it works great! We had 38 channels, but are 15 miles from
the towers)
25. And don't forget: Title / Taxes / and License Plates!
Whew! Who knew that moving from tent camping to small RV camping would be so challenging!
We did a short shake-down campout at a local park last week and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know our new T@B. We met some people next door that were in a new Airstream, and we each enjoyed showing off our toys.
BTW: You will find us this summer up at AirVenture with the Experimental Aircraft Association in Oshkosh, Wisconsin - camping for 13 nights (boondocking) with other volunteers. Come find us when we are not out and about. After many years in a tent, we anticipate a different experience in camping with our T@B!!!

it's like moving into a new home. I've had mine for a week- and spent most of my spare time shopping and outfitting it. Successfully installed 100W of Solar (very neatly I might add) Haven't taken it anywhere yet! Stealing some of your ideas tho.
