Shower Expectations

Hi All,
We have had our T@b 400 for about a month now and taken it on 3 trips. I recall taking a comfortable shower on our first trip to the desert. On the last two trips (in colder climates), we got no more than 10-20 second blasts of hot water in our shower before the water turned cold. I turned up the water temperature, which helped a little. Is this what we should expect out of the shower or is there something I can adjust to take a continuously warm shower? Is there a way to adjust the mixing valve?
Thanks!
Sam

I'm kinda' convinced that the mixing valve is what causes those hot/cold issues. Just turn it all the way up -and risk the potential scalding just to have hot water. Even still- it mixes. And, as it mixes hot and cold, the valve expands and contracts a bit, so it's constantly changing the mixture ratio.
Has anyone removed the mixing valve entirely?Silver on Silver, 320S '19 Outback -
Our 2015 320 did not come with a mixing valve. I replaced the cheep RV faucet with a single handle residential shower faucet from Home Depot. Positive shut off and easy to adjust temperature level.

Once the temperature is set on the mixing valve, it should be good to go, forever. It is a precautionary device to prevent scalding. I have one in my home and it has been set since the day it was installed. The one in my tab I fittled with when I got my tab, and have never touched it since. “Set it & forget it...”TV- '16 Chevy Colorado LT Crew Cab-DuraMax
