Alde 3020 making a high pitched noise......

Well, its starting to get a little chilly at night when you are deep in the PA woods (like we were this weekend) , so its time to start using the Alde heat system ......

Brand new 2019 320S - System works perfect , no leaks . Heat and hot water work perfect off of propane and AC power .
Only problem .........when the thermostat is calling for heat and the circulation pump is running (as shown by the circular arrows on the display) , we are getting a high pitched noise . This high pitched noise is ONLY when the heat circulation pump is running, and not when the system is running in general, building and holding heat in the boiler.

We are approx 3 hours from our dealer , which makes it a little tough .

Any thoughts on this ?
Is this normal to have a high pitched noise from the system when the circ pump is running ?

Check your circulation pump setting under the bench. It should be set at 1.5 to 2. Sometimes they do not get turned down after testing prior to delivery.

The pump is located down low on the unit near the yellow arrow. You need to stick your head down there to see it. It has a round dial face with a very small adjustable knob. As Sharon/Sam says, it should be set to 1.5 or 2.0.

Thanks guys , I will check that . That yellow arrow is exactly where the noise is coming from .
Right now its in "bed mode" . I will run out and check it in a little bit when it cools down a bit outside and report back (its 96 in the T@B now !)

Thanks guys ! Thats exactly what it was !!! For some reason the pump was set at the lowest setting . I had to up it to just slightly past 2 in order to get the high pitched "whine" to stop . AT 1.5-2. I could still hear a whine , but it was better . Just slightly over 2 , it is quiet .

Here is a picture of the pump in question that has to be adjusted, should anyone else have this "high pitched whine" issue when the pump is running on with a new Alde 3020 .
