2020 400 water not very hot

We have a 2-month-old 2020 400 BDL. It's already been to 7 states and lots of nights. We actually use the bathroom and shower. My issue is that the water doesn't get that hot. Warm? Yes. Hot? No. Here's what I've tried: turning the temp gauge outside to its limit, and boosting the water heater and waiting 30 minutes. There is MAYBE 2 seconds of fairly hot water then it becomes fairly warm. That's it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    This thread should help.  Go down to Bayliss on May 24th.  He has the best description for adjusting the mixing valve.

    Sounds like you could have an air lock situation to deal with.  It is described in the Alde manual.  Drain your hot water heater then let it fill back up again.  It needs a bubble of air to work properly, and the manual says to drain and refill after about 10 days of continuous use.  Mine seemed pretty good out of the box, though I adjusted the mixing valve just a little to get the temp at the kitchen sink to 120 degrees.

    @k4man, before you adjust your mixing valve, you can check your water temperature on the Alde display.  I think it is under Service Menu.  I think it is around 130 before the boost and 150 with the boost.

    +1 for the mixing valve. Ours was also not adjusted well from the factory, so we had to do that ourselves. The way you describe your experience almost perfectly describes what happens when the mixing valve needs to be opened up a bit more.
