Anyone have a good method to repair stripped screw holes in Azdel?

Poke some toothpicks and a little bit of sealant in the hole, then the screw will have something to grab onto.

Use a slow curing epoxy along with the toothpick/sliver of wood. Do not use an adhesive that hardens to a brittle state. Avoid  quick cure epoxies. West Systems G-Flex (thickened) is the ideal product for the repair.

A follow-up question on procedure: I'm guessing one should get a fair quantity of G-Flex into the screw hole(s), reassemble (e.g., tape into place whatever had been attached) and allow 24 hours or more to set. Does this sound about right?

Use a larger diameter and possibly longer screw.

Insert an appropriate size plastic electrical tie; then the screw, tighten, and cut off the tie flush. This is not for heavy or structural loads.

RCB Interesting! Certainly less messy& costly than using West Marine's epoxy. I just need to recreate an adequate seal for the shore power socket.

Alternately you could use stainless steel machine screws with nylock nuts on the inside wall for this.

The shore power socket gets lots of use and is only screwed into the foam wall.  The ideal solution is to buy an extra long drill bit, drill through the wall then replace the screws with bolts and nuts.  Mine hasn't moved in years.
