I'm a newbie  at this I was wondering that can I use a different brand  portable solar than the plug says on battery Zamp portable .

    Yes.  The Zamp port is just an SAE plug.  Search the Google for "Zamp reverse polarity" and see the 10 billion hits on the search that has baffled new solar users for years.  Old users, too.  The port can be used by any solar panel with a simple adapter or even simpler wiring ideas.  Or, just by opening the battery box and attaching alligator clips to the battery.  So, choose whatever panel you would like.

    Welcome to the forum Froggy2015!  Yes, you can use a different brand, however, be aware that Zamp has reversed the polarity of their plugs, so depending on what brand you use, you may need to reverse the wiring at the battery or purchase an adapter.  Best to follow the wires back to the battery to see which is positive and negative.  Here is a link that should help.
