Alde Display Panel Electrical Connection - Pinched Wire (Info Only)

I am posting this for information only.  I opened up the wiring cover on my Alde 3020 so I could confirm where the Alde control panel wiring plugs in to the Alde unit.  When I removed the Alde wire cover, I discovered that the red control panel wire was pinched (but not severed) under the cover (see yellow arrow in photo below.)  There is very little slack in the wire, but it had slipped out of the cut-out section below the cover where the wires should be routed prior to replacing the cover (area between the two blue areas.)  I put some electrical tape over that section of the wire just in case it happens again.  Just sharing this as another potential area to check in the event that the Alde control panel display suddenly stops working.

I wished NuCamp took as much pride in wiring as they do the woodwork

On my tab 400 where the 120v power lines run accross the doorway, the aluminum cover was cutting into the power cable. Had it done so, if I was lucky, a breaker would trip if not the doorway would set on fire.

I’ve said this elsewhere...! I was a professional wireman, and where I can have cleaned my trailers wiring up; short of rewiring the whole thing. The lack of slack is my biggest beef. Any cable mess can be cleaned up...if there is wire to do it.
