Toe Kick Plate

Have had an unsightly blemish under the shower door for several years:

Found a toe kick plate at Home Depot and cut it to fit.  A little pricey at $35 and made for 36" wide entry doors, but is a huge improvement over the soiled wallpaper.  This stuff is fairly thick and must be cut with a circular or Sabre saw.  Wanted to use two factory edges (left and top) so opted to add two screw holes on the left side that are not the same distance from the nearest screw holes to their right.  You ADD people saw that immediately!

    Nope. I used a matching tape on mine 😉. I had some fake wood trim to put there, but I forgot I didn’t have my pneumatic brad nailer and I didn’t call @Tabaz for help!

    Verna - stop kidding.  I know you know the secret handshake.  You would have NEVER installed that toe kick with that screw configuration.  In fact, its bothering me such much, I've spent the last 20 minutes searching for a 24 hour Home Depot so I can buy a new one.

    OK, Frank, you need to find a bronze one to match the shower door frame. And you might try Gorilla two sided tape so you know you will not be able to change it!

    Sink and stove are silver, frig is gray, carpeting is gray. Looks like I’ll have to replace the bronze shower door with brushed nickel. 😳

    Just drill two more holes and screws on the right side using the same spacing as the left. Then it will be symmetrical or add screws every inch and it will look very secure. :-)

    I'm sure you didn't screw into the black tank, with all those very secure screws.... :o=)
