Coax Spliter on Jensen JTV24DC

Anyone tried putting a splitter directly behind the TV so you can run either over the air HDTV antenna mounted in a window or campground cable via outside coax connection. Should work but curious. Happy Trails, All

    A coax switch would be needed, that would allow you to switch from one feed to another

    That is the best way, a splitter, while it works, would degrade the signal, reducing its strength.

    A 'splitter' takes one input source an outputs two or more identical (but slightly weaker) signals.  As @Tampakayaker stated you would need a switch which can switch between two or more input sources and output to one signal.

    For myself I don't fine it that much of a big a deal to manually change between the RV Park Cable or my OTA Antenna . . . 80% of the time OTA has better picture quality anyway.  RV Park cable TV is about as great as RV Park wi-fi.

    Switches are easy and inexpensive.

    Yes...meant to clarify. An "A/B" switch to toggle from park cable to OTA antenna. Cheers All!
