Running the AC

I bought my TAB 400 Boondock last October but just had the maiden voyage last week. I have some questions about the AC. First, will it start and run when plugged into a regular house outlet (110v)? Also, has anyone installed an Easy Start into the unit so it will start and run while boon docking? Thanks, Greg

Which year model, 2019 or 2020? Two different ACs were used during this time.
The Cool Cat, under the front dinette seat, will work on a 2200 watt inverter type generator with or without the soft start. The Softstart will get you down to 2000 watts generator. But you would need 400-600 amps of lithium batteries and a 3,000 watt inverter to run the AC of battery power.

Running on household 110V is no problem. Just need the adapter for the 30amp plug to 110V outlet.

If you have Elwell Air8 A/C ( under bed) nstead of Coolcat, should still be fine with 2200W genset, depending on what other draw you have.
