First time using hot water

Hi, I am struggling with hot water set up. 2020 Tab CSS Hooked up to city water, battery on, hot taps open ALDE turned on, nothing coming out of hot tap. 30 minutes later nothing coming out of hot tap. I'm in Arizona so no need for winterizing. All valves open. Any ideas?

Check your Alde bypass valve. It needs to be closed for cold water to enter the Alde water tank.

Once the Alde bypass is closed, then while still hooked up to city water, open a hot tap and let it run until it no longer sputters. Then you know the hot water tank is full and has been bled of air.

Interesting turn of the valves... the bypass valve was closed. However the cold water to the water heater valve was closed as well. Must have come from the dealership like that! As soon as I opened it, voila! Steaming hot water from both sinks. Thank you!
