Cabinet to mount on top of CSS front bench seat

Our used CSS has the bench seat rather than the taller dresser-style cabinet. I'm thinking of putting a shelf/drawer unit there. Wonder if anyone has found a ready solution, like a small dresser that would mount on top of the existing two-door cabinet?

    @AaronC, yes they have. I have seen and read the threads and seen pics of such a modification on this forum several years ago. Use the search function in the upper right of your screen. Use a few key words like front bench dresser mod or bench upgrade and see the many things you can find. Good luck!

    We found a couple removable shelves in that space served our travel style best but we have a closet where you have a wet bath. Lots of good ideas with this group.

    This is very close to the mod that is like to do! I have a 2015 CS. May I ask you what type
    of wood you used? And did you glue the shelves in. Any information you can share about your mod would be much appreciated!

    I think I bought these at Ikea. Fits ok in our 2016 CSS. Not a perfect match but it works great for us. Also added a bar above to hang our jackets.
