Samlex Portable Solar Units

I own a 90 watt Samlex portable solar unit that I plug into my TAB 400. I would like to purchase an additional portable unit (135 or 90) and connect them together to increase my battery charging.
Has anyone done this? Problems? Advice? Wisdom?
Thanks.

It sounds like you just plug into a solar port on your 400? If both the 90 watt and 135 watt have their own controller, just make a Y connection that plugs into your port and connects to both of your panels. You could also create pigtails off the battery to connect the second panel, but I know the battery is difficult to access.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio

I assumed that I had to connect additional units in parallel or series. But if I can just use a Y connection that would be really easy.2019 TAB 400 Boondock

You only need to do series or parallel when using one controller.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio
