Under sink storage in the clamshell

I was very surprised to see so many sensitive valves and connections in the under sink storage on the new T@B my wife and I just purchased. A lovely 2020 CS-S BD lite btw! This huge area seems totally useless for storage in a trailer bumping down the road. I would be worried that even small and light items could snag a plumbing connection. It seemed a strange oversight for all the great design work that went into these little trailers... Which brings me to my mod.

I decided to cover all sensitive areas with some decking. I grabbed some 3/4 construction grade ply and made some quick contours and shielding for all of the sensitive bits I could see. To secure them, I screwed down small pilings with a pocket hole jig and stapled some adhesive Velcro on both sides. So no worries for access winterizing and servicing. I may paint them down the road.

I'm pretty happy with the results for a 5-6 hour day project, would love to see others solutions to this storage space.

Others have made false bottoms also... I've even seen some metal dish drainers strategically placed over that mess...another reason we chose to wait for the 2021!..your solution looks great..happy clamming!

Good idea and you can remove it to access the valves for regularly emptying the Alde, Winterizing and sanitizing.  We used wire shelving.

Thanks! We really wanted the 2021, especially for the cassette toilet. Unfortunately, with low or no inventory at east coast dealers, the price was just a bit too high. $27.5 -$30k yikes!! We did luck out and get the Air8 instead of the window unit. More storage!!
