Stove burner doesn’t fully light

only half of the burner of one of our tab400 2burners lights up with flames. I’m thinking of unscrewing the burner to take a look, see if I notice an issue. I also don't know if that’s crazy, as I have no idea what I’m looking for. It came this way as a used camper. Has anyone experienced this and fixed it themselves? Thanks!

I would unscrew the burner and check the propane jet as well as clean the slots in the burner head. These are small and a small amount of debris can impede the gas flow leading to no flame in a portion of the burner head. The propane jet needs a very thin wire to go into that opening.

Flame spreader needs cleaning, that’s my bet. Reaming the jet is not I’ll advised either.

I reamed the jet with a tip cleaner and it now works!

$4 fix. Thanks for all of the useful suggestions!
