How to keep Pahaque cover in place?

Is there a trick to keeping the cover even from front to back? The cover for our 320-css fits perfectly but after a day or two it slides towards the back, eventually touching the ground. Last year we used the straps underneath from side to side. This year we did the same, but made them extra snug - which didn't work and only made it harder to readjust the cover. So yesterday my lovely wife suggested we try a criss cross pattern, which we did, but today when I checked it, it had again slid to to where the back was touching the ground. I wish there were grommets on all four corners which would allow tarp straps to be used to assist keeping the cover in a relatively stable placement. I'm at a loss of what to try next.

I don't have a cover for my 400, but you can buy grommet kits at Lowe's, Home Depot, and probably most hardware stores. The kit comes with the grommets (in whatever size you want) a hole puncher (not very robust but good enough), and the pieces needed to clinch the grommet halves together. Not real complicated to figure out but the kit will come with rudimentary instructions. With a little careful measuring you can get the grommets wherever you need them.
I would suggest you use a piece of material around the grommets as a backup to keep the grommets from pulling through the cover material.

I use big spring clamps to secure it to the bottom of the trailer, along with the straps you mention. I use several all around the trailer. Any breeze that manages to get under the fabric can turn that cover into a giant kite. There are many different kinds.

@pthomas745 has a good idea. There are things called "tarp clips" at home depot that would work well and are easy to use. They don't require punching holes in your cover either.

@JP2558 - can you cinch the front straps in front of the stabilizers? Thought that may help prevent the slide to the rear.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio

@Sharon_is_SAM - I'll have to check on that. I do like the tarp clips and also the grommet kits. Time to do some online research. Thanks everyone!

I use 4 tarp clips using a crisscross under the tongue. Works well to snip up the cover and hold in place front to back.2018 T@b 400, 200ah Lithium with Solar

I used these plastic clips from Amazon. They clamp onto the cover and have a hole at the back. I clipped a few of these to each end and secured them to the stabilizers with bungee cords. I covered the bungees with foam pipe insulation so they didn't rub against the paint. So far...so good.

Tarp Clips at Home Depot. 4 pack for $6.00. We got the last two packages (because you never know when your friends in tents might need a tarp clip).Perfect solution to our problem! Thank you @pthomas745.

You are welcome, but I'm sure I "borrowed" the idea from someone else here. The clips that Basil48192 posted are also extremely useful around the trailer with bungee cords. I use them for attaching guy lines to the visor to help hold it down. There is also a little device called a "tarp tracker" that slips into the Keder rail. One of the little clips and the tracker in the rail, and I can hang almost anything from the side of the trailer.

I have the P’hq cover and use it during winter. It fits well except, the back end seems to be cut for the Max trailer shape and not the bobtail shape of my 400. Is that common to other 400 covers ?400 - 2019
