Blind Spot Mirror

Not sure this is the right category for this question, perhaps better in "towing?"

I have put stick-on blind spot mirrors on the side mirrors of all my previous cars. There used to be no real choice, they were round and not adjustable. Now I am looking at blind spot mirrors for my Volvo XC60 and, wow. So many different shapes and many are adjustable. Any thoughts on if any of these is better than the good ol' round mirrors?

@PNWtabber, I prefer the round blindspot mirrors and position them in the lower outside corner of each mirror. This keeps the majority of your mirror surface free for viewing traffic behind and beside you.

@PNWtabber, I have these installed on our Honda Odyssey - provide excellent wide angle view with no vibration.

I have also always liked the small round wide angle mirrors on previous vehicles, but these are much better.

Any damage to the vehicle's mirror or finish with that?

I found this a few years ago and it has helped my mirror experience considerably. Adjusting your mirrors this way may help. (it takes a bit to get used to...)

Actually, my main issues are with seeing vertical clearance. I have a challenging driveway and have difficulty seeing to make sure I don't clip the corner of the roof (and then there is my mailbox on the other side) and I can't always have a spotter with me.

@PNWtabber, no damage if installed as instructed, a clamp comes with it that clamps to the top edge of the mirror, any damage would be to the inside of the mirror housing. However I chose to install using 3M mounting tape and screws - they will stay with the vehicle if I sell.
